Organizing the Oktoberfest—one of the German Club’s highlighted events of the year— is not all about parties and the fun that comes with it. The club also sees this as an opportunity for the Welfare Committee to raise funds for its various welfare projects such as support for the blind and seriously-ill children of poor families, feeding program, and scholarship program for students whose parents cannot afford the expenses.
